This course equips faith communities with practical strategies to recognize threats early, strengthen situational awareness, and respond effectively during emergencies. Based on the USCCA Countering the Mass Shooter Threat – Houses of Worship Edition curriculum, this class examines how violent attacks unfold and how preparation, coordination, and trained volunteers can significantly improve safety outcomes. The focus is on proactive awareness, clear roles during emergencies, and protecting congregants while preserving a welcoming environment. This course is designed for faith leaders, security teams, staff, volunteers, and congregants who want to take an active role in safeguarding their community.
